Air Gas Dryers

Some of them uses multiple bed format and special sorbent material. Compressed air dryers is a system for drying gas, such as air, includes a source of gas to be dried, a multistage compressor having an inlet connected to the source, and a dryer connected interstage to the compressor and to the outlet of the compressor. A communication structure can be activated to connect the outlet of the compressor for drying the gas to the compressor for regeneration. This use of compressed air dryer is an economical form of power for pneumatic operation, instrumentation and other applications. Mainly they fall into two main categories and they are :
Air Gas Dryers

Heatless Type Air/ Gas Dryers :
Its operation is simple and fully automatic. It is based on the principle "Pressure swing absorption" which means that the moisture is removed from absorption. There are two drying towers in this dryer, in one chamber drying of air is done and in other chamber re-generation is done. For complete automatic change over slide piston values , pneumatic diaphragm are provided. Our heatless driers are

Heat Regenerated Type Dryer:
In these type of dryers , one more factor that is external heat is used for regeneration of the adsorbent. They are categorized as follows :
  • Internal Heaters Type: They are embedded in the drying tower which heat up adsorption media upto required degree . Then the absorbed moisture is flushed out with the help of dried air / gas.

  • Blower Heat Regenerated: It provides a facility to save compressed air that is used in the process of regeneration. It provides atmospheric air heated in an external heater and then is passed through drying tower so that all moisture can be removed from it.

  • No Purge Loss Split Flow Type: It is split at the intake through differential valve. Small part of stream is passed through external heater and tower regeneration where it caries the absorbed moisture and then finally passed through a cooler where the absorbed moisture is condensed and separated.

  • Heat of Compression Type: Hot compressed air dyer is directly passed through drying tower so that it can be regenerated, therefore it eliminates use of heater. At the intake side a small capacity heater is provided which take care of lowering the temperature of hot air. They are also known as " power saving dryers " .

  • Refrigerated Air Dryers: It is the most commonly used dryer in industrial sector. Refrigerated air dryers are mainly used for the drying of plant air and other utility gases like hydrogen gas, nitrogen drying etc. Moisture present is condensed by chilling it down using effective refrigeration cycle. Full range of air-cooled as well as water cooled refrigerated air dryers are also available for moisture removal. Over conventional refrigerated dryer system power consumption is reduced by 10%. Its advance design removes moisture dirt and oil contamination by either impingement or integral filtration.

  • Skid Mounted Compressed Air System: In this system complete assembly is mounted on a common skid. It requires just a power connection, water connection and air inlet/outlet connection and then it is ready to install.
